Section 13(7) in Andhra Pradesh Urban Areas (Development) Act, 1975
(7)After the commencement of this Act, no development of land shall be undertaken or carried out by any person or body including any department of the government in such area adjoining to or in the vicinity of the development area, as may be notified by the Government unless approval of or sanction for such development has been obtained in writing from the local authority concerned, in accordance with the provisions of relevant law relating thereto, including the law relating to town planning for the time being in force and the rules and regulations made thereunder :Provided that the local authority concerned may, in consultation with the Authority, frame or suitably amend its regulations in their application to such area adjoining to or in the vicinity of the development area.
