Section 1(c) in Agreement Between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the Republic of Maldives on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons
(c)"sentence" means any final punishment or measure involving deprivation of liberty ordered by a court or tribunal for a determinate period of time, or for life imprisonment, in the exercise of its criminal jurisdiction;
