This is an application at the instance of a convict for extension of the temporary bail earlier granted by this Court vide order dated 14.03.2019 in Criminal Misc. Application No.10 of 2019 in Criminal Appeal No.1152 of 2018. The applicant convict has been released on temporary bail up to 23rd March, 2019. He seeks extension of the temporary bail for 4 more days on the ground of performing after-death rituals of his deceased younger brother who died on 14.03.2019.Page 1 of 2
R/CR.A/1152/2018 IA ORDER Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and having gone through the materials on record, we are persuaded to exercise our discretion in favour of the applicant-convict.
Taking into consideration the grounds urged in this application, the temporary bail earlier granted is hereby extended for a further period of 4 (Four) days on same terms and conditions.
The applicant-convict shall surrender before the jail authority on 28th March, 2019, without fail.
Rule is made absolute to the aforesaid extent. Direct service is permitted.
