Section 7(3) in The Karnataka State Higher Education Council Act, 2010
(3)The Vice-Chairman or any member other than an ex-officio member shall be appointed by the Government ordinarily for a term of five years and shall not be eligible for reappointment for a second term:Provided that a person who has not attained the age of seventy years shall be eligible to be appointed as the Vice-Chairman.
