Section 2(b) in The M.P. Janpad Panchayat (Management of Ferries) Rules, 1999
(b)"Ferry" means and includes a bridge of boats, Pontoons or rafts, swinging bridge, a flying bridge and a temporary bridge and the approaches to and landing places of a ferry;
