- The raw material for manufacture shall be under the charge of a responsible officer, who shall issue each morning what is required for the day's work and receive into store in the evening the material which has not been used up. He shall also as far as possible, satisfy himself that there is no waste of material, but this shall not relieve the Deputy Superintendent (F) or Deputy Superintendent (M) as the case may be, of the responsibility of the safe custody and proper disposal of the manufactory stores.
