11. Role of Dental Colleges as CDE providers.
- All the DCI recognized dental Institutions are advised to set-up an independent department for Continuing Dental Education manned by a designated faculty, to work as nodal centers for CDE activities for the concerned State. The colleges are advised to conduct at least one CDE program of clinical interest every quarter including essential areas viz. Professional Ethics, Bio-medical Waste Management, Infection Control, Basic Life Support System, Radiation Hazard Prevention, NACO protocols etc. Moreover, the dental college shall conduct at least two free of charge CDE programs in a year.
