Section 14(1) in The U.P. Water Management And Regulatory Commission Act, 2008
(1)The Commission shall, while performing its adjudicatory functions under this Act, have all powers of a Civil Court trying a suit in respect of the following matters, namely :-(a)summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath;(b)requiring the discovery and production of any document;(c)receiving evidence on affidavits;(d)requisitioning any public record or copy thereof from any Court;(e)issuing commissions for the examination of witnesses and documents; and(f)such other matters as may be prescribed.
