The present writ petition has been filed for seeking quashing of Letter bearing No.19651-70 Security/dated 05.12.2022 (Annexure P-
1), whereby the Superintendent of Police, Panipat had ordered ban of the persons mentioned in the above lists from entering in the police stations. Such persons were labelled as touts.
Short reply dated 16.04.2023 by way of an affidavit of Ajit Singh Shekhawat, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Panipat on behalf of the respondents-State has been filed today in the Court and the same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.
It has been averred in the aforesaid short reply that name of the petitioner already stands removed from the list of touts vide letter No.8081-87/Security dated 12.04.2023 (Annexure R-6).

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, thus submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous in light of the short reply filed by the respondents coupled with letter dated 12.04.2023 (Annexure R-6).
In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
