Section 18(1) in The Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Rules, 2012
(1)The [Director-General of Civil Aviation] [Substituted by Notification No. G.S.R. 808(E), dated 23.10.2012 (w.e.f. 5.7.2012).] shall establish a mandatory incident reporting system to facilitate collection of information on actual or potential safely deficiencies.
