Section 2(iii) in The Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh (Constitution and Conduct of Business) Rules, 1963
(iii)"Association" means any association of legal practitioners entitled to practise in the High Court or in any civil, criminal or revenue court, registered as such association with the Bar Council on an application made to it in that behalf containing the names of its advocate members;
