Section 10(a) in Rajasthan Land Revenue (Land Records) Rules, 1957
(a)Privilege leave and other kinds of leave up to one month, where no substitute is required, will be granted by the Tehsildar who shall make temporary arrangement of the Patwari's duties to be performed by Patwaris of the adjoining circles. Privilege and other kinds of leave over one month, when no substitute is required, will be granted by the Sub-Divisional Officer but in all cases, in which appointments of substitutes are to be made, leave will be granted by the Collector.
