Section 51A(6)(a) in The Madras City Police Act, 1888

(a)Any person who is guilty of the breach of any direction given to him under sub-section (1) or sub-section (1-A) or sub-section (4) shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to two years or with fine or with both ;
