63. Accidents and other emergencies.
- The Officer-in-Charge of the institution shall initiate the following measures to prevent accidents and other incidents:(1)Proper maintenance of buildings and premises.(2)First-aid kit, Fire extinguishers shall be installed adequately in kitchen, dormitories, store rooms etc.,(3)Periodically review of electrical installations.(4)Proper white washing of buildings and cleanliness of the premises etc.,(5)The Officer-in-Charge of the institution shall maintain an accident Register.(6)Proper cleanliness maintained in the bathrooms and toilets and to ensure that the bathrooms and toilets have proper taps, running water and drainage system.
