Section 17(1) in The Bengal Tanks Improvement Act, 1939
(1)Every person whose name is included in the list referred to in sub-section (1) of section 16B or his successor-in-interest shall pay annually and in the prescribed manner and on the dates prescribed to the authorised person or to such person as may be authorised by the Collector in his behalf the fees fixed according to the provisions of this section.
