Section 16 in The Jammu and Kashmir Standards of Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1997
16. Persons using weights or measures for transactions or industrial production or for protection to get themselves registered.
- No person not being an itinerant vendor, shall use any weight or measure in any transaction or for industrial production or for protection unless he is registered in accordance with provisions of this Chapter.
