Section 1 in Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976
1. Short title, extent, application and commencement.
(1)This Act maybe called the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Tamil Nadu.(3)It applies to all private colleges.(4)Save as otherwise provided in section 55, the provisions of this Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st day of November 1975.
