The Central Examination Committee will, with the prior approval of the Government, fix the duties for the Departmental Examination. The first half-yearly examination will usually be held in the months of May or June and the second in October or November. The Central Examination Committee shall notify the dates of the examination in the Bihar Gazette and shall also inform the High Court and Revenue Department about the dates so notified, at least two months in advance of the date fixed, unless, for exceptional reasons to be reported to Government, they are unable to do so.
