(2)Under Section 3 of the Kerala Restriction on Cutting and Destruction of Valuable Trees Act, 1974 (7 of 1974), the Government of Kerala hereby appoint the Divisional Forest Officers in charge of the special divisions to be authorised officers for the purposes of the said Act, within their respective jurisdictions.(Notification No. G.O.
