Section 16(2) in The Bengal Diseases Of Animals Act, 1944
(2)If any person having been convicted of an offence punishable under any of the clauses (a) to (i) of sub-section (1) is again guilty of any offence punishable under that clause or is guilty of any offence punishable under any of the remaining said clauses he shall be [punished for every such subsequent offence with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees] [Substituted by Act No. 9 of 2008, dated 17.4.2008.].
