Section 16(2) in The Tamil Nadu Bhoodan Yagna Act, 1958
(2)Where the owner donating his land for the Bhoodan Yagna under sub-section (1) is a janmi or any other landlord in an area where the Malabar Tenancy Act, 1929 ([Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.] Act XIV of 1930), is in force, no donation of his land for the Bhoodan Yagna shall be valid unless the tenant of such janmi or landlord transfers all his right, title and interest in such land to the State Board for the purposes of the Bhoodan Yagna by declaration made in the prescribed manner.
