Section 2(1)(g) in The Himachal Pradesh Forest Produce (Regulation of Trade) Act, 1982

(g)"sale" with all its grammatical variations and cognate expressions means any transfer of forest produce by one person to another for cash or for deferred payment or for other valuable consideration and includes a transfer of forest produce on hire-purchase or other system of payment by instalment.
