15. [ Delegation of powers. [Section 15 was substituted by Gujarat 3 of 1996, Section 5 (w.r.e.f. 08-09-1995).]
- The Board may, with the approval of the State Government, direct that such of the powers and duties conferred or imposed upon the Board by or under this Act as may be specified in such direction, may also be exercised or performed by the Chief Executive Officer subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be specified in such direction:Provided that the Chief Executive Officer shall exercise the powers and perform the duties specified in the direction subject to the supervision and the control of the Board.]
