The Complainant has sought the following information:
- On the Basis of which academic papers Shri Ashok Ramdas Raskar was selected for the post of Mechanical Draftsman in the Ministry of Defence (DGQA) Ahmednagar in the examination held on 30/03/2011. Also provide copies of certificates of educational qualification of Mr. Raskar, his written examination question paper & answer sheet and a copy of the Advertisement issued for the said post.1
Grounds for Complaint The CPIO did not provide the desired information. Submissions made by Complainant and Respondent during Hearing:
The complainant was not present at the VC venue despite due service of notice on 30.05.2022 vide speed post acknowledgment no. ED959232450IN. The CPIO submitted that a suitable reply was given. He further reiterated the written submissions dated 03.06.2022.
Observations:
Based on a perusal of the record, it was noted that on 18.12.2020 the available document was sent. He was also invited for inspection of documents. The FAA vide order dated 05.02.2021 had reiterated the reply. The CPIO vide his written submissions dated 03.06.2022 submitted that a copy of advertisement related to Shri Asok Ramdas Raskar who was selected for the post of Mechanical Draftsman at CQA (V), Ahmednagar has been forwarded to the applicant on 18.12.2020 and for rest of the information the applicant has been asked to visit the office with prior appointment. During the hearing the CPIO was told that if the complainant seeks appointment for getting information, only such information should be revelaed which is not exempted under the RTI Act. The complainant was not present at the VC venue to contest his case.
Decision:
In view of the above observations, the Commission finds no sufficient ground to admit this complaint.
The complaint is disposed of accordingly.
