Section 74 in The U.P. Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1975
74. Right of owner or occupier to obtain sewer connection.
- The owner or occupier of any premises shall be entitled to empty sewage of the premises into a sewer of a Jal Sansthan provided that, before doing so, he, -(a)obtains written permission of the Jal Sansthan and pays connection fee in accordance with the bye-laws; and(b)complies with such other conditions as may be provided by bye-laws.
