32. [ Acts of municipal council, etc., not to be invalidated by informality, etc. [This section was substituted for the original section by section 28 of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1930 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1930)]
- No act of a municipal council or of a committee thereof or of any person acting as chairman, vice-chairman or member of the municipal council or committee shall be deemed to be invalid by reason only of a defect in the establishment of the municipality or committee or on the ground that the chairman, vice-chairman or any member of the council or committee was not entitled to hold or continue in such office by reason of any disqualification or by reason of any irregularity or illegality in his election or appointment or by reason of such act having been done during the period of any vacancy in the office of chairman, vice-chairman or member of the council or committee.]Administration Report
