Section 32(3) in The Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(3)If any difference of opinion arises between the Corporation and any other local authority which has joined the Corporation under this section, the matter shall be referred to the [State] Government whose decision thereon shall be final and binding:Provided that, if the local authority concerned is a cantonment authority any such decision shall not be binding unless it is confirmed by the Central Government.
