(3)Superintendent of Police may, in order to provide Police service in respect of matters specified under sub-section (1), refer a matter to the District Magistrate to issue directions to all or any of the departments in the district to facilitate such assistance as may be necessary, and the District Magistrate may issue appropriate directions, which shall be complied with by the district head of the department concerned without demur or delay.
