4. [ Licensing authority. [Section 4 substituted by Gujarat No. 4 of 2005, dated 25,h February, 2005.]
- The authority having power to grant licence under this Act shall be the District Magistrate within his jurisdiction:Provided that the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, constitute for the whole or any part of the State such other authority as it may specify in the notification to be the licensing authority for the purposes of this Act.]
