KULDIP SINGH J. (ORAL)
Heard.
The prayer is for transfer of a civil suit titled as Jaswinder Kaur and another Versus Kulwant Kaur, from the Court of Shri R.S. Nagpal, learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Ludhiana, to the Court of learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Chandigarh. It has been pressed on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is being threatened at Ludhiana Courts and that she has made a report regarding this to the Court.
I am of the view that if she has been threatened, petitioner can always approach the police for necessary action, if some cognizable offence is made out. The case was filed in the year 2016 and is stated to be fixed for evidence of plaintiff. No ground to transfer the abovenoted civil suit from Ludhiana Courts to Chandigarh Courts is made out. Consequently, instant transfer petition is dismissed.
