Section 390(b) in The U.P. Co-operative Societies Rules, 1968
(b)(i)the U.P. Co-operative Union (PCU) as a Co-operative Federal Authority in respect of all agricultural credit societies (including their Central Bank) and also for such other societies or class of societies as may be mentioned in the notification, and(ii)one or more appropriate Apex Level Societies as Co-operative Federal Authority or authorities in respect of the rest of the societies.
