Section 612(1) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(1)The classes of crime detailed below which are ordinarily the work of professional criminals :-(i)dacoity;(ii)highway, railway or mail robbery;(iii)counterfeiting coin or stamps, forging Government currency or promissory notes and uttering or being in possession of the same;(iv)drugging or poisoning;(v)swindling;(vi)murder for gain;(vii)insurance frauds of serious nature;(viii)cases of bank frauds;(ix)crime on Railways.
