        (v) in the second proviso, for the words"Provided further that", the following shall besubstituted, namely:-
        "Provided further that the reservation inappointments in favour of the persons belonging to economicallyweaker sections shall be in addition to the existing reservationas provided in this subsection and shall be subject to a maximumof ten per cent. of the posts in each category:
        Provided also that".
        C. In section 9, in sub-section (1),-
        (i) for the portion beginning with "shallreserve" and ending with "from time to time;",the following shall be substituted, namely:-
        "shall reserve seats in the ProfessionalInstitutions for candidates belonging to,-
        (a) reserved categories and such other classes or categories asmay be notified from time to time; and
        (b) economically weaker sections:";
        (ii) in the proviso, for the words "thetotal percentage of reservation", the words, brackets andletter "the total percentage of reservation provided inclause (a)" shall be substituted;
