(14)Subject to the provisions of the Statutes and the Ordinances, the Vice-Chancellor shall have power to appoint, suspend, dismiss or otherwise punish any member of the establishment of the University below the rank of Deputy Registrar:Provided that he may delegate any of his powers under this sub-section to the Pro-Vice chancellor or the Registrar.
