6. [ Colleges not to be affiliated to any other University and recognition of college by University. [Deemed to have come into force on 8 August 1998 (T. N. Act 17 of 1998).]
(1)No Law college or institution imparting legal education within the University area shall be affiliated to any other University other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University.(2)No Law college or institution imparting legal education affiliated to, or associated with, or maintained by, any other University, whether within the State of Tamil Nadu or outside the State of Tamil Nadu, shall be recognised by the University for any purpose except with the prior approval of the Government and the University concerned.]
