Section 5 in Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coins on the Occasion of "University of Mysore Centenary Celebrations") Rules, 2016

5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.

- Standard weight of the coins of the following denominations, and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.The First Schedule(See rule 4)
(i)One Hundred Rupees
Obverse:The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend "lR;eso t;rs" inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word "Hkkjr" in Devanagari script and on the right periphery with the word "INDIA" in English, and it shall also bear the Rupee symbol "L" and denominational value "100" in international numerals below the Lion Capitol.Reverse:This face of the coin shall bear the image of "Crawford Hall building" along with portrait of "Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV" in the centre, with inscription "eSlwj fo'ofo|ky; 'krkCnh lekjksg" in Devanagari script and "UNIVERSITY OF MYSORE CENTENARY CELEBERATIONS" in English shall be written on the upper and lower periphery respectively. The year "1916" and "2016" in international numerals shall be written at left and right side, below the image of Crawford Hall building respectively.
(Ii)Five Rupees

Five Rupees 6 Grams 1/100thplus or minus for Copper andZinc, that is to say Copper could vary from 74 per cent to 76 percent and Zinc from 19 per cent to 21 per cent and 1/200thplus or minus for Nickel that is to say Nickel could vary from4.5 per cent to 5.5 per cent. 1/40thplus or minus, that is to say,the weight could vary from 5.85 grams to 6.15 grams.
