(5)Each Faculty shall comprise such Departments of Teaching as may be prescribed by the Ordinances. The Head of every such Departments shall be the Professor of the Department, or if there is no professor, the Reader. If there is more than one Professors, or more than one Readers of a Department, the Vice-Chancellor shall appoint to be the Head of the Department such one of the Professors or, if there is no Professor, such one of the Readers as he thinks fit. The head of the Department shall be responsible to the Dean for the organisation of the teaching in the Department.
