Section 206 in U.P. Building And Other Construction Workers (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Rules, 2009
206. Circuit breaker and transformer.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that :(a)Adequate number of differential groundfault circuit breakers are installed for every electrical distribution system and its sub-system used at an excavation or tunneling work and the sensitivity of each of circuit breaker is adjusted in accordance with the requirement set out in accordance with relevant national standards;(b)No semi-enclosed fuse unit is in use at an underground place at an excavation or tunneling work;(c)No transformer is used in any section of tunnel under compressed air unless such transformer is of the dry type and conforms with the relevant national standards.
