ORDER
Background
1. The RTI Application dated 21.10.11 was filed by the Applicant with the PIO, DRM Office, Southern Railway, Tiruchchirappally Division. The Applicant sought information about an order of the District Munisif, Thiruvannamalai in connection with a recovery from the pay bill of one Thiru T Anbazhakan, Gang Meistry, Velanandhal Railway station, PWI Thiruvannamalai Section including on what date the Court order in connection with the recovery was received, which month the recovery was started, number of months for which salary was deducted as per the court order etc. The PIO replied on 10.11.11 enclosing the information furnished by the Divl. Personnel Officer who stated that "With reference to the above the salary attachment recovery from the salary of Shri T Anbazhagan, G.Mate/SE/P.WAY/TNM amounting to Rs 57,466/ in OS No. 445/07 in EP No. 269/09 has been effected from the month of November 2011 onwards". Not satisfied with this reply the Applicant filed his first appeal on 15.12.11 requesting for the information against point 1. On not receiving any response from the FAA, the Appellant filed his second appeal before the Commission seeking the information once again.
Decision
2. During the hearing the Appellant wanted to know on what date the Court Order in connection with recovery was received by the office. According to the Respondents it was received on 3.11.11.
3. The PIO was then directed by the Commission to inform the Appellant formally in writing the date on which the court order was received in the office, by end of September, 2012.
4. The appeal is disposed off.
