Section 34(1) in Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies Act, 2010
(1)The Vice Chancellor shall be the principal executive and academic officer of the University and Ex-officio Chairman of the University Governing Council and of the Academic Council and shall in the absence of the Chancellor and the Pro-Chancellor, preside the convocation of the University and confer degrees on persons entitled to receive them.
