Section 569(1) in Rules under the United Provinces Excise Act, 1910
(1)Licence to tap tree and draw Nira therefrom shall be granted by the Collector for the following purposes :(a)manufacture of Gur or other similar product which is not an intoxicant;(b)storage and supply of Nira to retail licensees;(c)bona fide private consumption.
