Section 167(2) in The Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949
(2)Not less than fifteen days before any work under this section is commenced the Commissioner shall give written notice to the owners of all the premises to be drained, of -(a)the nature of the intended work,(b)the estimated expenses thereof, and(c)the proportion of such expenses payable by each owner.
