Section 40(1) in Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research and Management Act, 2012
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in section 19, the State Government shall appoint the first Director General, as soon as practicable after the commencement of this Act for a period not exceeding three years on such terms and conditions as the State Government thinks fit, who shall exercise all the powers and discharge all the functions of the Director General.
