3. Establishment of Debt Settlement Boards. -
(1)The [State Government] [Words substituted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937 and the Adaptation of Laws Order. 1950, respectively.] may, by notification, establish one or more Debt Settlement Boards for any local area specified in the notification.(2)Each Board shall consist of a Chairman and of not more than four other members, to be appointed by the [State Government] [Words substituted by the Government of India (Adaptation of Indian Laws) Order, 1937 and the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950, respectively.].
