Section 31(3) in United Khasi-Jaintia Hills Autonomous District (Management and Control of Forests) Act, 1958
(3)No Forest Officer shall be empowered under this section unless he is a Forest Officer who is in receipt of a monthly salary amounting to at least Rs. 100 and the sum of money accepted as compensation under Clause (a) of Sub-section (1) of this section shall, in no case, exceed the sum of rupees fifty.
