Section 385C(2) in West Bengal Municipal Act, 1993
(2)When any provision of this Act or the rules or the regulations made thereunder is extended with or without modification to an industrial township, such provision or rule or regulation shall, unless a different intention appears, operate as if the industrial township were a municipal area and the powers and duties of the Chairman-in-Council were vested in the Chairman appointed under sub-section (2) of section 385B and those of the Board of Councilors, in the Industrial Township Authority.
