Section 7(b) in The Himgiri Nabh Vishwavidyalaya (University in the Sky) Act, 2003
(b)to benefit the humanity spread all over the country and the world, without any discrimination on the ground of caste, creed, community, gender and religion according to its motto of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam (World as Family). The University shall, organise its activities in conventional residential and distance mode to carry out research, teaching and extension work;
