Section 7 in THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR ALLIED AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONS ACT, 2021
7. Meetings of Commission.—
(1)The Commission shall meet at least once in every quarter at such time and place as may be decided by the Chairperson, and shall observe such rules of procedure in regard to the transaction of business at its meetings in the manner as may be prescribed by the Central Government.(2)The Chairperson shall preside over the meeting of the Commission and if, for any reason, he is unable to attend the meeting of the Commission, the Vice-Chairperson shall preside over the meeting.(3)One-half of the total number of Members of the Commission including the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson shall constitute the quorum and all decisions of the Commission shall be taken by a majority of the Members, present and voting; and in the event of equality of votes, the Chairperson or in his absence, the Vice-Chairperson shall have a second or casting vote.
