Section 170(1) in The Orissa Motor Vehicles Rules, 1993
(1)When any line is painted on or is laid into the surface of any road at the approach to a road junction or to a pedestrian crossing or otherwise, no driver shall drive a motor vehicle so that any part thereof projects beyond that line at any time when a signal to stop is being given by a Police Officer or by means of traffic control lights or by the temporary display of sign No. M-6 of the Schedule to the Act.
