Prayer: Petition filed seeking for a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to G.O.Ms.No.241, Housing and Urban Development (UD-III-I) Department, dated 19.9.2003, and quash the same in so far as Clause Nos.I, II and III of paragraph 3 of the said GO in respect of petitioner's land situate at Thaiyur `B' village, Chengalpet Taluk, Kanchipuram District, comprised in Survey No.1249/3A measuring an extent of 27 cents and in Survey No.1269/2, measuring an extent of Acre 3.88 cents, in all acre 3.95 cents. Today, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had sought the permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
